There is no way I would criticize another man for being extra careful navigating a sharp obstacle that close to "the fellers". Did you watch ALL 11 seconds? Okay, yeah you are right about that part......
Maybe I should put in the opening post "ADD can skip ahead to two seconds."

Wonder if the Boston FBI office would hire me as another gate jumper.... |

People post a video thats 8 minutes long for something to happen in the last 30 seconds. |

Last October at the local Octoberfest parade one of the bike cops stopped to let someone cross the street in front of him. He didn't get unclipped from the pedal in time and...... BOOM fell over sideways in front of all the crowds. Of course it was videoed and went to Youtube. |
|
I was assisting officers in a neighboring jurisdiction on a residential burglary alarm.
Doors and windows locked/secured. Homeowners came home and were nearby with residence keys. Neighboring officers decided to kick-in a door to search the house, even after being told homeowners were right there with the keys. ![]() As soon as they search was completed, I quickly distanced myself from those guys and GTFO. |

I had the local VFD drive right past my open gate, drive thorugh a neighbor's property, and cut my fence to get at a brush fire. My wife pointed this out to the chief , who got all huffy and wanted to know "how else was he supposed to get at the fire"? "Through the open gate you passed by with me standing next to it waving you in". was his reaction.

Thats nothing compared to the video of a house fire where the cop was banging on the door then broke the window and made the lady evacuate her house thinking it was on fire then realized it was the house behind her that was on fire. Theirs a video of it on youtube somewhere. |

Although that is quite humorous it's also a bit disturbing to me. That's a paid and supposedly highly trained person that doesn't even try the most obvious thing first. It really kinda makes me question their problem solving capabilities and whether they should be on the scene of a volatile situation and armed. It really does. I don't think I'd want him calling the shots for anything.
