I am looking to put some new glass on a few of my magnum calibers.  I have never really been picky when it comes to scopes, but I am finding myself shooting out to 500 yards at coyote and less sized targets.  I am considering Trijicon 5-20.  Is it worth the money?  I held it up next to a couple Cabelas brand scopes and could not physically see the difference in the store, but we are talking half price for what seems to be the same scope.  Suggestions?

I love Trijicon scopes.
They are priced competitively to pretty much anything of comparable quality, IMO.
( I don't believe that the Cabela's scopes you mention are gonna be comparable, if they are being sold for half the price.  They may be a good value, but they probably aren't as good as the Trij.)
Just the way it works, most of the time. You get what you pay for.
