Why don't more people use them, they are relatively inexpensive and save you tons of time.
I hate cleaning.

I would be hard pressed to find someone I felt that I could trust not to steal my shit. Cleaning the house myself is worth the piece of mind. Growing up my family was very close with our housekeeper. She even game to my graduation. I don't think I'll ever be able to find that myself. |

We used to have someone come like once a week when I was a kid… It didn't make much sense as my mom would "clean up" before she came ![]() My Mom does the same thing lol. I've had a couple but they left. The last time I looked I couldn't find one I trusted for under $25 an hour. No way im paying that, i'll clean it my damned self. |

I wouldn't want one even if I could comfortably afford it. Im not even so worried about THEM stealing my shit as much as just talking about my stuff to someone else…. ETA: It is nice though, on ships someone came by and cleaned/ made up my bed every day. Laundry too, just not work stuff |

Number 1...........I don't want anybody in my house, fucking with anything. I can clean my own house, most of the time. I wouldn't mind having someone come in to dust three times a week.....maybe a poor starving young girl from Ireland.....or maybe Norway. Sadly the wife doesn't see the NEED |

When I was living in NYC I was banging mine.
She was Russian and a hottie Is your name Jerry? One of our customers ended up dating and marrying one of our employees. She now owns some really nice homes and cars. Apparently they had dated way back in high school, sent her to clean his house one day as a substitute. The rest is now history. |
| I live alone and am very good about picking up after myself and not even making a mess at all. I take 1-2 hours a week to sweep , mop, clean my bathroom etc.. I pay a lawn service $30 for a mow and edge once a week. It is that cheap because they already do 7 houses on the block and my yard is small. They trim the hedges every other week for an extra $10. Well worth it IMO. |

I clean as I go. Take an hour on the weekends to do the tubs and stuff. Dishes are done as they are used.
Yardwork is completely the wife's deal. I might have to dig a hole every once and a while to plant yet ANOTHER rose bush but that's about it. (Seriously, there are 15 varieities of roses in the front yard alone. Crossing the front yard is like stumbling over a roll of concertina. )
