Any love for this one? Or???? They got one at the local funshop.
I am interested in the FNH. What say ye? I bought a Para earlier. No love for that one to be found here. But what the hell. I did the usual and bought it without any prior research.
They want around 800 for it. Kinda pricey. |

Do they grenade like some say? It looks pretty cool. Its nice and solid feeling. Heavy with a poly bottom and metal rails. It is black on the bottom and silver on the top. The sights were easy to see through. Even with my eyes. It was a double stack mag. Guy said a good home defense gun.
Damn man. Now yall got me all hot and bothered. I JUST got my ass reamed for buying the Para. That thing was 1,300. But I traded a Glock and fronted 900. Damn I feel like to fo or not to fo? Thats fo sure. I think its used. If it does not grenade or have mag problems like the double stack Paras. I may be getting my ass reamed again. IF it sticks around long enough. Damn damn damn.

Damn damn damn. ![]() New design uses a fully supported, conventional rifled barrel (can shoot cast lead). Also, the design is pretty modular. I have all the small parts needed to rebuild a plastic lower (replacement rails, etc.). |

What is the difference between the X and P? P has different mags and a unsupported chamber where the X has a supported chamber and updated mags, I bought a FNX45 in FDE about 6 weeks ago for $700 plus tax, added night sights and love it, liked it so much I got a five seven to add to the rotation ;) |

Probably not much help but I have an FNX9 and love it.
One thing I would change is the arrangement of the safety/decocker. I would rather press up to decock, have safe in the middle and fire as the lowest postion. As it is now if you swipe the safety too fast it will decock the pistol. Not a huge issue, I just carry saftey off and decocked. But it would be nice to be able to carry cocked and locked and not decock the pistol 9 out of 10 times with you draw and take it off safe. |
