You remember that story about the pics of kids with NFA items for the bliss ninny ads against guns?
Link Well, I dropped off a comment figuring I'd get flamed right and left. Here's what I said: Let's see. One of my earliest memories is shooting cans off a log with my Dad. I think I was 4 at the time. Maybe 5. I had a rack full of rifles in my room by the time I was 10. I never even considered pointing any gun at a person. It just wasn't part of my makeup, and why was that? Because I was raised that way.
The problem we have in this country isn't that there are guns. The problem is that we've been raising feral humans for a generation and they act like animals. We should stop that. In the mean time, disarming the good guys with all these ferals around seems for lack of a better word.......stupid. The current tally is 938 thumbs up to 30 thumbs down, over 50 replies, and almost all of them agreeing with me, and one invitation to run for president.
It appears we may be making some progress. |

Good job! Only the girl in the first picture had good trigger discipline. I just gave it a try with the originating site, putting a request for them to set the right example up front. Pretty sure it won't get past the moderator though. Here tis: First, please be responsible in your use of child models in future marketing material. In these pictures, the children are almost all handling the firearms in ways that are unsafe (fingers on triggers). Allowing children to do that even for a photo shoot is dangerous because children build habits very quickly. One of the most fundamental rules of firearm safety is to keep your fingers outside of the trigger guard until you intend to fire. Please help propagate real gun safety by setting the right example.
