Businesses, which voluntarily sell a product or service to a customer that voluntarily buys that product, are the ultimate enemy. They are stealing from the poor and middle class. Government, which forces people to buy stuff at the threat of gun point is the savior of everything good.
Hates Christianity because it "oppresses women" but loves Islam. A CEO who works hard and makes millions is greedy but a Hollywood star who makes millions earned every penny Wants the "government out of their bedroom" but expects the government to pay for their birth control and abortions Share yours |

I'd rather try and find the corner of a basketball than have a logical argument with a liberal. Don't go where angels fear to tread. Not all, but there are a lot of very astute liberals that are keenly skilled at presenting arguments. Going toe to toe with someone who is articulate and passionate about their case or cause without the ability to call upon every reasonable fact on your side of an argument can be suicide. I listen carefully before I engage in a conversation (if invited). If I can't present my argument in succinct and articulate manner then I generally keep my mouth shut. A stated fact can quickly become irrelevant if you cannot provide substantial information to support the fact. Conservative politicians seem to be dying from this affliction on a daily basis. I've seen many people who were correct in fact, but perish in debate. From my personal observations, I also find liberals in general are much better than conservatives at maintaining their composer in a heated debate. Most liberals I meet may not be any smarter than conservatives, but the majority are definitely better educated, academically speaking. Higher education institutions are generally liberal which explains and supports my observations. To be clear, I'm speaking strictly about the liberals I encounter in my daily life, social gatherings, fund raisers, parties, etc. Your results and mileage may vary. |
