Im trying to ship some ammo to my cousin in Fl and I went up to the ups store to ship them. I was told I need a license to ship bullets, guns, mags, etc which I know is wrong ( i thought) on everything except guns. So who will ship ammo? I have gotten ammo from private sellers before via ups so something must have changed.

I took a stripped barreled action from my rem 700 into a UPS store to ship to my gunsmith and they looked at me like I had an extra arm growing out of my forehead... I made them package it for me then went over to the post office and shipped it, this after I have received entire functioning firearms via UPS. I know, CSB...
Anyway, the correct answer is USPS flat rate box. ETA: oops I read the thread title and thought you were shipping projectiles, USPS won't ship live ammo... |

I knew this guy that worked on the road . . . . during the bullshit panicking around 08'-09', he'd go into WalMarts after work and picked up thousands of rounds of Winchester WB and Federal Value Packs . . . . he'd box the shit up and take it to UPS store and ship it to himself . Dozens of times in dozens of states . . . . never had issue one .  |
