So, I've gotten a few of them this year. The latest ones from the GB auctions on 3/19 and 3/20.
I received them in the mail today and they all have an assembly date on them of 3/19/13. Few thoughts: 1. Part of Botach's problem in cancelling "in stock" orders stems from the fact that they are calling items "in stock" before they have them in physical possession, if ever. Maybe they say "in stock" as soon as they get the packing list from the distributor? I don't see how Surefire would assemble them on the 19th and get them to Botach to sell on the same day and the next morning. I realize both companies are in CA, but still...the mags seemed to have shipped from Botach, not direct from Surefire. or 2. The assembled date is wrong or the sticker is fake. or 3. The mags themselves are fake. I like a fresh built mag and all, but buying it the same day it was put together??? Even with the low inventory they must have on hand, is that possible nowadays? Any thoughts? |

Inventory is fluid, you are overthinking things.
Botach never sent my shit! Botach sent me shit that is too new! How long do you think magazines are laying around right now, and do you think when you order something that is in stock, that they run to the back and put your name on it? Inventory comes and goes. |

WTFO?
Let's say there's 20 Magazine built on 27 Mar (yesterday) sitting in stock. You order one today 28 Mar because they are in stock Takes five days to process your order cause they're backed up. They get a new shipment in with magazines built 1 Apr. Who says the warehouse isn't gonna pull from the new pallet to fill orders.... I can see it now "NOOOO don't pull from that box, they were made after the order was placed!!!! |
| I purchased a "in stock" surefire 60rd magazine on 1/17/13 from Botach. Magazine showed up about 2 1/2 weeks later. Funny thing was on the Surefire label it said the date of assembly was 1/18/13, the day after my order. Either they own a time machine, or they are selling inventory they are expecting to recieve. |
| I got everything I ordered from them within 10 days of my order, always used the free economy shipping. Is there not some silly California law that says they can only sell re-build kits for magazines over a certain round count? Possibly they have to put them together and then ship or the drop-ship straight from Surefire possiblility is there as well? I don't know. If ya' got your stuff what is the problem? |

Perhaps Surefire is drop shipping for Botach? ...or same day shipping... Or Botach picked them up directly from Surefire. Fountain Valley (Surefire) is only 20 or so miles from SW Los Angeles (Botach). I've driven my broken forend lights down to Surefire myself on several occasions. John |
| The same thing happened to me. They are either selling stuff they don't have yet or it's drop shipping from surefire directly. The tracking number showed that it sat in California post office for 5 days. Which tells me they just paid for the shipping before it ever left. Either way I really don't care because I have it which is the most important thing. I had an order in for 3 months with brownells that I cancelled so if anyone had one on order you just moved up a spot. |
