Looked for an industry forum, no luck.
Back about the time bolt carriers and groups started to become scarce I placed an order with this company. It clearly states on the webpage that you will not be charged until the order ships . So I noticed that my credit card gets charged about a month ago. No shipping notice No email at all. So I send multiple emails to their address. Call and leave multiple messages. Finally I send 1 more email requesting status or I will reverse charges and dispute with my credit card. Still no communication. So on Friday I called my credit card and filed a dispute for the entire amount. Imagine my surprise when a package shows up on my door yesterday that was shipped Monday with all of my stuff in it. tl:dr. Rguns charged my card, didn't ship, didn't return communication until I disputed charges. No apologies, nothing. |

In before GTFO with your complaints. So what are you doing to get them their money back OP? I think it is a shitty deal when companies don't communicate. Dec-Jan I understand the overload, but now there can't be that many E-mails coming in. Op, did your E-mail have a subject line that they would have understood as urgent? |
| A friend of mine had a similar experience. Ordered in January expecting a long wait. Shipping notice early this month. 3 days after it was due for delivery the tracking number still said awaiting shipment. He emailed politely asking if it had shipped or not and was told since he was bothering them they were terminating his ordewr. Filed a BBB complaint, and the day after they were to have received a notice a complaint had been filed his BCG showed up in an express mail package. |

You know the BBB can't do anything right? They can't force a company to do anything, they can't fine a company, they have no authority over a company. The only way to get an A rating is to PAY them. Their fee to be a member is $1,000,000. That is not a joke. So you have to pay a cool million to get better than a C rating. The only thing the BBB does is get you touch with the correct person at the company that can actually resolve your concerns if they want to. But thats something you can do yourself when you are persistant. In my line of work I deal with BBB complaints. Absolutely worthless company. I don't know if you can tell but I hate the BBB. /rant over |

Rguns charged my package on a Friday and i received a UPS shipping email on Monday and i received my package on a Tuesday
my package was 4 months late, there customer service is horrible and I will not do business with them again. my friend ordered an upper the day before I did and his card was charged a day later and he has still not received his package |

My coworker has a Larue OBR on order since August 2012 and he still hasn't received it. It was fully paid up front with an estimated 8 week delivery.
It even happens even with the best of companies nowadays. Rguns isn't immune. FWIW, my cousin has an RGuns AR, bought last summer, and he got it within a week or so. It was a different world back then though... |

I placed my order on 12/26, and despite their website stating it was in-stock, I got in line with everyone else. That's fine. It's nothing to blow a blood vessel over.
RGuns charged my credit card on 02/13. I noticed it when my credit card statement came. I've not received anything from them that it was done. No notice my order has shipped. Nor have I received my order. They don't answer the phone. Their mailbox has overflowed like a broken sewer. They don't read faxes; I've sent 4. And e-mail is ignored, I've sent 11. I finally got an e-mail response on 03/21. "this was sent out" That's it, the entire response. No date, no carrier, no tracking information, nothing. I've sent 5 e-mails since requesting any information at all. NADA I got the charge reversed and credited back to my account. Let's see if they respond to that. |

Despite numberless attempts to contact you via phone, fax and e-mail all I get is, “this was sent out”.
I have come to the conclusion it was not. My card company has credited back my account. Should by some miracle it arrive, I’ll either send it back or inform my card company I received it. I will cheerfully do so with the same courteously, timeliness and cheerfulness you have shown me in your customer service. I doubt I’ll have to bother, as I’m certain it was never “sent out”. I just sent them my last e-mail. There will be no further correspondence from me. I'm done. I own a business, this is the worst business I have ever dealt with. Heed this warning, Don't order from RGuns. |

My fiirst experience with R Guns dated back to the Klinton era, before the AW ban back then was passed.
I ordered 3 X Glock 18 magazines via fax, and for 2 weeks, no package, credit card charged, and no return calls or fax. I decided to notify them that I want to cancel the order, and reverse the credit card charges. A week later, a box show up, containing 3 X G18 magazines, and I am OK, and did not call the credit card company. Next day, another box from R Guns show up, containing another 3 X G18 magazines, so I call them back, notifing them they double ship. Never receive a return call. Next day, I got a voice message from R Guns stating they are shipping return shipping material to me, so I can send the excess package back to them. A week later, a package from R-Guns came, and guess what, 3 more magazines, and no retuen packaging material, so I call them again, but never receive a return call. My second experoence, ordered 1 dozen of Colt AR15 magazine from them, to make a long story short, the first doxen was delievered top the wrong house according to UPS, the second I receive 2 weeks later, and the third dozen came a day after I receive the second dozen. Again, no return call or return packaging material. In both cases, I profitted, but in both cases, it shows something was really screwed up there. That was over 20 years ago. |

Rguns living up to their reputation. They are what they are; notouriously bad customer service.
My Neighbor bought a complete RGuns upper from someone else off Gunbroker. Its nice. A friend ordered two bolt carriers from them the first of January. No emails, or other communication. Aware of their reputation, my friend made no effort to contact them. A couple of good bolt carrier groups showed up last week. Same old story; decent product, horrible customer service. |

Aren't they based in the Peoples Republic of Illinois? Not surprised. There's plenty of good people in IL. RGuns folks aren't them. You guys are lucky. FFL of mine says if he calls them to check on an order they treat him just as poorly. If he cancels an order, they charge him $100. That's right. $100 fee to cancel an order. |

RGuns is a small storefront operation in a tiny little stripmall that you'de miss if you blinked your eyes while driving. I missed it twice.
Like every other company in the world (10-12 years ago), they jumped on the "e-commerce" bandwagon. I imagine their online store, order processing, credit card POS, UPS shipping, etc. is handled from a solitary PC in the small back room they have behind the counter. Back when they were a DPMS distributor, I went there to buy a regular AR-15A2 rifle configuration (for $750 There are lots of companies that cannot adequately manage even a simple online store, though. |
