Last week my MIL had to put down her 13 year old miniature schnauzer who had lung cancer. Thus dag was no ordinary dag but a part of the family. Needless to say it was hard on her. While you cannot replace a longtime companies a new friend can ease the pain of the lose.
So the wife and I searched the interwebs for a female salt/pepper miniature schnauzer to no avail... None were either salt/pepper or they were not available for us to take it to her when we go done there on the 20th of this month with all the kids for spring break. We finally found one but it was a boy dag AND 3 1/2 hours west. MIL is 5 hours SOUTH. After seeing pics she wants him so we made plans to take a road trip today. We got there and there were two boy dags... So which one to choose for the MIL? Easy pick - on was like a sprayed roach and the other was just chill. So I got her the sprayed roach. Hah - nah I love my MIL and the chill dag won the day. We are on the way home and this dag hasn't whimpered or cried and has laid in my lap with no issues at all. We have been on the phone talking names. The recently departed was named Stasia, short for Anastasia so she was would like a Germanic/Russian sounding name. I offered to solicit ARFCOM for help and they said that would be a great idea. So... Saying all that - ARFCOM help name this dag TL/DR - MIL's dog dies and new one needs name. Standby for pics
