The weather warming up has me in the mood to listen to some bluegrass.
I need to expand my listening collection and always learn about bands I've never heard of in these threads. So...Post 'em up!

Well, Mike Marshall, Tony Rice, Bela Fleck, and Jerry Douglas have pretty much done it all. A lot of traditional bluegrass people alway disparage these guys. Too bad for them.
Allison and Union Station are the best in-person band of any kind I've ever heard. Absolutely perfect. Peter Rowan has a voice from heaven. Del McCrory is very musical and take bluegrass to another level. |
