Claypool is a genius. The stuff he did with Trey Anastasio in Oysterhead was mindblowing. Victor Wooten from Bela Fleck and the Flecktones is probably the only bassist to be better than Les. Say what you will about the music, it's not my favorite, but Les owned the instrument.
