I have been using Slip 2000 for a while on my ARs and SIGs and I recently read about Fire Clean on facebook by a couple of friends.. I thought to give it a try and just ordered 8-oz of it. (Very professional people answered me within an hour at the company and organised a shipping for me).
What you guys think about it ? I'm particullary interested by the "coating" effect of that product, that supposeldy makes everything run smoother. |

Ok.
So i wanted to give it a try and contacted Fire Clean. They were very professional and shipped me two bottles in less than a week. I got it yesterday, and applied it to my AR-15s according to their instructions. I previously was using the Swiss issued military grease for assault rifles, and then switched to the slip2000.. Fire clean made a difference. After cleaning my guns dry, applying fire clean allowed me to remove even more carbons fouling. I then reapplied some and let it rest over night. In the morning a wiped it off, and reapplied a new layer, as instructed. Result. My ARs have never been so smooth. When I pull the charging handle, my BCG slides in and out very smoothly , more than it ever has. And I am not using any nickel boron or chrome plated BCG. I haven't shot it yet, but I wanted to write a early report. It does work in lubricating the gun better than any previous product I have used in the past. More AAR after the range session on Tuesday. |
