This weekend I visited with a woman who is very much displeased with Obama, sleeps with a .38 revolver under her pillow (not thrilled about location), has her CHL and thought that the government should ban semi-automatic firearms for civilians. She was also buying the "high capacity" magazine ban.
I used the past tense for her ban sentiments because it wasn't too difficult to sway her to our side, but it did reinforce my perception that whatever support the ban measures might have is at least somewhat due to successful misleading propaganda. |
