ive came to realize the funny thing about most gun owners is that almost everyone will claim that a certain caliber is "inadequate"..whats with that?im pretty sure that if i said "ok,then let me shoot you with it"99.9% percent would have a different opinion!...it seems to me that ultimatly there is no difference..bleeding either way!

If it goes bang its good for me.  Of course different cartridges have different purposes, but I wouldn't scoff at somebody pointing a rifle at me loaded with .22 shorts.

It ain't about bleeding.  It's about stopping power.

Shot placement is more important than caliber. I mean, no one says "Yeah, sure, I'll let you shoot me with that .22 because it's a pussy round..."

Because, OP, that is an asinine argument.

Here's an analogy:  Slamming a bad guy's finger in a door isn't an effective defense, so how about you let me try it on you?

Not capable of reaching minimum penetration standards, and not being reliable to incapacitate an aggressor =/= hugs & kisses

Lose the simpleton, derp logic.
