his latest issue; banning headphones that allow music to be played to loud.
Someone needs to walk around with a 32oz Mt.Dew eating a Baconator while listening to some Ozzy...film it and send him a copy. Geesh,he gets under my skin. Why cant he just find something constructive to do like...basket weaving or something. |

This won't pass. Do you have any idea how popular Dre Beats headphones are? I can tell you they are much more popular than the idea of buying food with your own money among other things.
Like this is any dumber than banning 32oz soft drinks and a mayor telling ER doctors what they can and cannot prescribe to emergency patients. Yea, I'm sure the NY'ers are going to RAGE on this one. |
|
How the hell is he going to even measure that they are too loud? And who is going to do it? The cops? with some cheap ass Radio Shack decibel meter that they don't even know how to use?
And what is his standard going to be? Xdb at YHz at Z distance from the earbuds? This guy is a lunatic. |

It's a good thing I picked up a spare set of headphones while they were cheap. Earbuds and studio ones. Pre-ban headphones! Ammo, guns, now headphones. Stocking up is getting expensive.
Maybe it is part of the plan from to boost the economy? I'll trade you a few hundred preban light bulbs for some preban headphones. |
| I despise Bloomberg and everything he stands for, but I thought this latest thing was a public education thing, rather than an attempted ban. Apparently people in NYC aren't smart enough to realize they're hurting their ears, but that's what comes from having the government hold your hand in every aspect of life. |

The frog is still in the simmering pot. http://www.mikecornelison.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/fuhrer-bloomberg-health-nazi.jpg He's really just one hot oven away from this to be honest. |

Did Hitler Loose His Mind. Only history will tell. No one should judge another person. But I will be frank, that thing (maybe a man) is Evil. Seems as though he even has his own cult following. Anyone that wants that much power, is very dangerous. Cumo and The United Nations Needs to Move Their Facilites / Asses to another country. Better yet Off this Planet Out of this Galaxy Out of this Universe Well, maybe the Universe dont even want them. Where's a Black Hole when you need one. |

The question is not 'has bloomberg lost his mind', it is 'have the majority of the 19 million people living in the New York Metro Area" lost theirs.
I cannot imagine living in such a pristine existance, where the powers that be no longer let you have a vote in your life, they simply tell you that you will no longer drink big gulps, sugar is satan, and only criminals have access to guns, and you are happy about it... Stay up there sheep, we like it down here in the south. At least the criminals think twice when they see an untucked shirt... |

First they came for the fatties drinking high capacity sodas, and I didn't speak out because I don't drink soda.
Then they came for the patients with chronic pain management, and I didn't speak out because I am not in pain. Then they came for the kids with their rock and roll and loud headphones, and I didn't speak out because I don't listen to headphones...
