[ARCHIVED THREAD] - How Triumph Grows Motorcycles (Page 1 of 2)

Thanks OP. I love that video.
I own a 07 Rocket III Classic, modified by Carpenter Racing and undergoing surgery for a supercharger install right now... Looking to buy a second Rocket since the one I own right now is getting into the realm of "impractical for street use" pushing 300HP. Have had a Bonneville, Thruxton, and Thunderbird (the 95 version, not the new one) in the stable in the past as well. |

Carpenter is nuts, I've been following the Silverback build and how they got sub 10 on it. You should go to your local Triumph dealer, they have a nice poster of the RIII on the salt flats with a big old Carpenter carbon fiber intake shroud. http://rideatriumph.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/4296-TRI_SaltFlatsRecord_RAT_Hero.jpg Oh my.... Where are the Norton's?
Do these new Triumph's have the classic Triumph sound? Such gorgeous bikes....... There was a guy who was bringing back Vincent, and had some gorgeous bikes built ready to go to market a few years back but he died in an accident iirc Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Do these new Triumph's have the classic Triumph sound? Such gorgeous bikes....... Sounds like the Norton's are still awaiting EPA approval on emissions according to one of the few US dealers. Weren't the Norton bikes going to be priced around $20,000? Should have kept my 1970's Triumph Bonneville. Let someone talk me out of it in 1991. |

Does Norton still use the penis logo? http://www.steadfastcycles.com/cart/images/Norton%20Gold%20Logo%20with%20Black%20Background.jpg http://nortonmotorcycles.com/ |

Wow, Triumph. Top hole. Bally Jerry pranged his kite right in the how's your father. Hairy blighter, dicky-birdied, feathered back on his Sammy, took a waspy, flipped over on his Betty Harper's and caught his can in the Bertie. Why do I think I understand most of that?
