While it probably has a snowballs chance in hell, this goes to show nowhere is immune to the people trying to pass these "laws". Hell, our constitution says the only thing in regards to firearms that can be regulated is that of concealed weapons. Eta: for other Kentuckians who didn't know until this thread, someone else started a thread two weeks ago in the hometown forum area. link |

already emailed my reps about it a while back. they dont support. I believe several others got similar or better responses.
Its just the 'feinstein' thing to do for democrats. I wouldnt doubt it if they have an email sent out to all democrats that say 'propose this bill in your state...' |

They don't care anymore, nobody is stopping them. Colorado: The right of no person to keep and bear arms in defense of his home, person and property, or in aid of the civil power when thereto legally summoned, shall be called in question; but nothing herein contained shall be construed to justify the practice of carrying concealed weapons. Say what you will but the mere fact that a state like Kentucky has even gone this far is very scary!! We might be in for more than we bargained for....... Dude, the west end of Louisville is like little Detroit, I'm not surprised at all. I'm sure they introduce this shit every year, it's just getting press coverage now. |

All these asshats coming out of the closet are just making it clear who we need to target in 2014. QFT. Plan on doing whatever I can next year to replace some Louisville democrats. Not mine, he has brains enough to vote on giving preemption teeth and trying to get us a firearms freedom act, and I think he voted for ccw too. He's still getting emails from me. |

This shit is all marching orders coming down from D.C. When the CO house was voting on four gun bills, the sponsor left the floor while the opposition was trying to ask questions. Shortly there after they called was seemed like a five minute recess so the dems could go talk to Biden who apparently showed up in person. |

![]() ![]() ![]() I understand the sentiment that it is impossible for this to pass in Kentucky's Legislature-for now. But even if it would never pass the your State, its coming via a Federal Ban eventually. A few more years, maybe a decade of the continued growth of Progressivism and they'll have the votes. Hell look who was just elected President for a second term. A Revolutionary Leftist. A few more nut cases shooting up the expanded gun free zones will scare the sheeple. Laugh all you want. Case in point. How many of you know the amount YOU OWE RIGHT NOW on the existing Federal Debt? Come on give me an answer. You, your kids, your grandkids ALREADY OWE A SHITLOAD of $$. Thats on the books. And they're adding to it by 85-100 Billion a month. And that does not count unfunded Entitlements of Social Security and Medicare that are estimated (conservatively) at $75 Trillion. Those cost are promised but "not incurred yet" so they don't show up on the balance sheet. You are already fucked and you are laughing about them not being able to pass another one of their feel good laws-which certainly helps keeping the attention of everyone off other critical issues. Good for you for having a legislature that will no allow this to pass. And Thank you for electing Rand Paul to the Senate. (I don't know your other Senator). But the Left wing nuts, don't underestimate them. They get enough power and money they will buy offf any addional votes they need. I read today that the NRA brought in about $15 million last year. Soros made $1,200 million in three months in Currency trading. That will go to Left wing causes. Sure we have some Rich guys too. But look up the Ford Foundation on Wikipedia. That is a huge endowment totally committed to the Left. |

A federal ban isn't getting much traction so Dems are making a concerted effort to push bans on a state level. They are being proposed in almost every state. |

You know some time back, we (the FBI) was offering $25 million for a fuck stick that planned and financed some little terrorist attacks on the US. $25mil for one guy. IIRC it took us 10yrs and that $25mil didn't buy us shit. Money isn't everything. |
