Ok I have an LTC-A with restriction in MA. Which means that I can own pistols and AR's but I cannot legally conceal carry. My restrictions are hunting and target only.

My license qualifies me to carry in other states. do my restrictions apply or would I be able to conceal carry?

When in Rome...

If your permit is honored in other states you'll have to follow THEIR laws, not your home state's laws.

Would depend if those states had reciprocity and honored an LTC-A from MA.

Check with the state attorney general's office for any state you are planning on trying this in would be my advice.

There are a couple states who accept the mass LTC as a valid permit.

I would email or call a state I wished to visit.

You could just try and get one of the non-resident permits from another state; that you know is honored wherever you are going.

Just get a Utah or Florida license. They will be much more useful than your Mass license since Mass has no recipricity and alot of states require that in order to recognize out of state licenses. Utah now requires you to have a license in your home state before it will issue one. I am not sure your Mass one will cut is since you can't actually carry concealed on it.

I hate MA. my city has a "waiting" period for handing out conceal permits. If I wait two years without having issues I can get it upgraded...
