So my wife bought me a MK802 for christmas to use when she is hogging the laptop, and we were hoping to use it as a "media center" also.

Right now we're using our Xbox360 as our "media center" using it to stream content from our laptop to our TV. Because streaming with the xbox can be a pain, we were hoping that with the MK802 we could download content directly onto it(with a microSD card in it for storage) and play it directly from the MK802 to keep things simple. The problem I seem to have run into is that I can't seem to download directly to the SD card, all downloads want to go to internal storage (1 or 2 GB's, not a lot of space).

I've been through all the storage options I can find, and I can't seem to find any way to do what I want. Even when it asks where I want to save the media I don't see the SD card as a option(even though when going through the android settings it shows the 16GB, so I know it recognizes the card). Anyone know a way to accomplish what I want?

Should be a directory for external_sdcard as well as internal_sdcard.

No?

Kids are on the TV at the moment, so I can't give you an exact name but when I try to choose where the media is being downloaded i'm shown a file directory that has a folder that seems like it should be the SD card but when I try it it saves to the internal memory(based on looking at the used space in the android storage settings).

Mounted yes. Formatted? I guess I never did anything specific formatting wise, but it was pulled from my wifes old Samsung, which was running Android, so I would assume the formatting is fine?
