I'd rather that than a 500HP oversized, overweight "throwback muscle car" with a fat, overly tall, nondescript rear end. That looks like you could throw that thing around corners with ease. Not if you wanna have your foot anywhere near the gas pedal while doing so. Understeer anyone?? |

Looks like it's just FWD, and isn't being built anyway. It would be a blast with AWD. |

I'd sy about 300hp is all that's usable in a regular FWD car. Anything more it's almost wasted unless you're going for top speed runs. I had 300ish with my last car that was FWD it wasn't bad . You definitely had to be a man about the torque steer though. Just know when you come under boost and its not too bad. |

Problem with that is that suzy soccermom takes that corner too fast and the back end will come around, terminal oversteer in a FWD if you are not expecting it.

I had a tuned 2nd Gen MS3 that you had to keep an eye on when hitting the boost hard. The only time I really had any "issue" with torque steer was when I gave it the beans while on a horribly rutted road. |

FWD or AWD ? I think a AWD would be a hoot! Some competition for the WRX/STI As an STi owner I'd agree. 500 out of the box would be nuts. Did t you destroy a ring land a few months back? Ever get it fixed? I did. And she is still sitting....waiting on a quote from a local subaru shop now actually. Hopefully will be on the road again by summer. My forester just isn't as fun.
I just need someone to assemble the motor. I can ge the forged internals at cost because I know people. |

You could also learn how to drive one properly, and not go full blast ham-fisted into a corner at full throttle, too. |

Putting a lot of power to the front wheels is going to have a negative impact on steering and handling? Why spend the coin on a fun vehicle if it utilizes a design that makes it inherently crappier? |
| My buddy has a Mazda 3 speed FWD. It is the twin turbo addition. The problem with that much horse to the front end is steering. It pulls steering wheel out of your hands practically and while it handles great, every time you hit the turbo, the entire wheel jumps around in your hands- making it difficult to control. I'd rather have rear wheel drive with that kind of power which is why true muscle cars were rear wheel drive. AWD would be find to tame it down but not all in the front wheels. |

Am I the only one who finds torque steer exciting? hold on to the fuckin steering wheel. either way that focus thing is pretty badass looking..AWD would be the tits..I hate how Ford likes to fuck us in the states over when it comes to fun light fwd and rwd little sports cars.
