So I just found out about flashseats because I bought some Rockets tickets and somehow it signed me up for a flashseats account and my tickets are there.  I tried to print them out and finally realized it's a paperless system where I just scan my credit card at the door and that's how the tickets are used.

Seems ok I guess but then I found the ticket selling and buying place on flashseats.  Um, I could have bought tickets for cheaper directly from there instead of going to the Rockets website.  Since it's all safe unlike craigslist, this seems like an awesome thing.

Is there some downside with flashseats I'm not seeing?

Oh, and Ticketmaster can piss off.  I've paid $30 in fees for $20 worth of tickets through them.  My flashseats didn't have any fees that I had to pay.

I just had a thought.  If it's completely paperless and they just scan my credit card once I get in, what's to stop me from going to any seat in the house?  It's not like there's something I can show an usher.
