Sorry, I know this has been discussed. If a dupe please lock. I hope this does not violate coc, but this washed up old juice head is a real piece of sh*t.

He has no problem being one of the few elite in CA that has CCW.

| at least he admits that it's crazy fucking people doing this shit and not just guns jumping up and shooting people. I don't agree with his view on guns, but I do agree that crazy people are the real problem. A sick, demented person is going to find a way to commit the act they want regardless of weapon. |

Bless his little gun-grabbing, hypocritical heart.
Haven't watched Stallone's movies in many years, especially the new stuff. Don't intend to start. He really ought to go ask his mother or one of his exes for permission to retire. It's wholly possible that Dolph Lundgren landed a few good punches during the filming of Rocky IV and knocked what little common sense the man possessed clean outta his noggin. |

Who has made and shown the most violent gun-violence movies: NBC, CBS, ABC... or NRA? Although I know this is responding to the totally bogus "national discourse" on movie violence through various media and talking heads, with the theory that violent movies and games possibly translate into real-world violent tendencies (which I don't personally think is legitimate and, IMHO, boils down yet again to PROPER PARENTING and which is why we have parental guidance ratings on everything)... The only thing that annoys me about all this is that it's fucking entertainment. Might as well say SAW and Texas Chainsaw movies make us all want to go out and mutilate dozens of strangers on vacation. Likewise, hating Stallone because he made a living on cheesy gunplay in action movies is like hating James Earl Jones because he was the voice of Darth Vader: it's FICTIONAL entertainment. Fuck, we might as well say Natalie Portman is a whore and supports the Whore Movement - and she must be a hypocrite because she got married ... after all, she played a whore in a movie once. Clearly, James Earl Jones wants to oppress our entire planet in the name of the Emperor, too! Get my point?
[photo of scantily clad woman removed - Paul] Now... back on topic: Hate Stallone for being a draft-dodger. Hate him for being a juicer/vitamin popper. Hate him for the bad movies. Hate him for generally being a dick - or hate him for his political views. But hating him for playing fictional roles because he's an actor is just illogical and kind of dumb, IMHO. I personally think we're better than that. By the way, the movie is "Closer" and is worth watching if only for the club scene... |

That his movies involve characters using guns and violence is just a note of hypocrisy, not the reason for the hate. |

To me the issue is that actors that are willing to trample on the 2nd admendment while claiming absolute protection of the 1st admendment to make "entertainment" killing people with the very items they want to ban. The "entertainment" is far more dangerous to society than any gun they want to ban. |

Who has made and shown the most violent gun-violence movies: NBC, CBS, ABC... or NRA? Good point. Should be held liable. No... people should be held responsible for their OWN actions. Parents should be responsible for educating and acclimating their children to a Big World with lots of Bad Things in it. Period. Trying to blame media outlets for violence based on volume (or market share) just further legitimizes the "blame the manufacturer, blame the distributor, censor everything!" Leftist tactics that you're trying to twist around for benefit. The other side is flagrantly emotional, irrational and heavily reliant on unadulterated propaganda to justify their message; trying to beat them at their own game will never work when they already have an entrenched advantage in every conceivable manner. The only trump card is... truth. And the truth is, it's all garbage. Censoring TV, games, guns, resellers or even free speech will have no appreciable effect anymore than Prohibition lowered violent crime, reduced alcohol consumption rates and crushed the black market economy in this country. Like I said, People are responsible for their own actions; actions have consequences. |

I'm taking a massive Stallone while I read this. I think you've just started something there. From now on I'm not going to say that I'm going to go take a shit, instead I will be going to take a Stallone. Bastard made millions by hawking guns and violence, probably has armed guards around him all the time, and yet has the nerve to tell us what we should have. |
