I don't really know anything about AR's but my girlfriends dad sold it to me and it seems to be a good deal given the time. When things settle down will I regret my purchase and think i overpaid???

That's pretty much what you would have paid for a new BCM. I'd say it was a good buy, I've seen carbon 15's sell for more than that.

That's a great deal on a great rifle-I agree with the others
In my experience, you'll never regret buying quality-and BCM is quality.
