Mark Kelly (ret.), the husband of former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. Former Rep. Giffords was shot in the head when a gunman opened fire at an event she was holding in her district. Six people were killed in that shooting. She and her husband have formed Americans for Responsible Solutions, a gun control group. Also testifying are Nicholas Johnson, professor of law at Fordham University in New York; James Johnson, chief of police for Baltimore County, Md., and chairman of the National Law Enforcement Partnership to Prevent Gun Violence; and Gayle Trotter, attorney and senior fellow at the Independent Women's Forum.
