Is there such a thing as The Devil?
Is he responsible for the evil in this world? Does he influence people to do his infernal bidding? Does he have an Army of demons that bewitch the living and posses their bodies and do evil? He didn't steal anything. It was always there for the taking, the choice to do so was Man's. Actually, Lucifer is nothing more than G-d's help. He can do nothing against the desire of G-d, and anything he has done to man has been done to make us stronger and to help us understand what we are able to overcome. He's just another teacher provided to us. ETA-That's assuming that such a being exists, and that any of it really matters.

| I don't know about Satan, but there are some truly evil people out there and I'm not talking about your usual violent offenders, sexual predators or psych patients (or politicians) but truly evil people. It's hard to describe but you'll know if you meet one; I've run across a couple during my time in EMS and it was the same weird feeling each time. If I never come across another it'll suite me just fine. |

it sadens me to see the flippant responses here on this subject. Yes I believe in Satan and the powers that he is allowed to ply on this earth but his days are numbered and he is nobody's friend. It is written in Gods word, there is pleasure in sin for a time but the day of judgment will come. Where will we all stand in that day? |
