If I email a C&R, does it need to have the current date?
All it really mentions is it being an "original" copy.

It's probably at the discretion of the person you are sending it to, but I can't imagine the date is an issue so long as the license is valid. Ask them if they're cool with it, and follow up with a signed one via snail mail.

The main issue some dealers have is they wont accept non-"original" signatures on the C&R, aka, they want a pen signed C&R and not a faxed/emailed copy. Talk to who you bought it from to save yourself a headache.
