| Two weeks before this gun issue mess, I was contemplating getting my FFL. Im in s. c. What is the consensus? Is it worth trying to get now or to much of a headache wait? |

How much are you thinking of getting into it? Just friends and family size or a store front?
I had one about 20 years ago when it was only $30 for a 3 year license. It was cheap, but by the time you factored in all the other licenses (local and state) you are required to have and the time it took to do the paperwork, I gave mine up. I was just doing it for friends and family. ETA: There is also more required now to get your FFL, namely that you are legal with your local zoning laws, if you have them. |

You may want to hang tight a bit. The biggest challenge right now would be to actually get some inventory to sell. As a "small guy" the distributors don't care about us, they sell all the good stuff to the big boys. I spent 3 hours the other day looking for inventory and everything said "Not in stock" or "Allocated". All I could buy were things that won't sell too quick. |
