They also have very little violent crime there and a murder anywhere in the country is big news. It is one of the absolute safest places I have even been and, as far as crime or violence not related to a conflict, I felt that way when I was there for the first time when things were really bad in 2002. Since nearly everyone has to be in the army at some point in their lives, if they had the gun bug that itch has been scratched. Another thing is they know if the time comes they will quickly be given a weapon to protect their country when needed. |
