after last night's travesty I predict the following:

1) People will not set aside their "livelihood" and there will be no mass exodus coming out of new york. The people of new york will put their wallets before their liberty
2) No one will assert themselves when it comes time for confiscation. No one wants to be a martyr
3) No businesses will leave new york, this one included.  No CEO's that are gun owners (whether they live in new york or not) will pull their HQ's from new york. It will be business as usual.
4) Various gun manufacturer's will continue to sell weapons and magazines to New york Law enforcement and national guard, again putting their wallets before liberty.

At some point people we have to be willing to make personal sacrifices and put liberty first.

#4 might be possible with the right amount of persuasion from the rest of the country.
