I got the flu within two weeks of getting a flu shot every year that I was in the army. Haven't had a flu shot or the flu since I have been out.

You do realize that 2 weeks isn't long enough for the vaccine to protect you right?

Respiratory flu and stomach flu are two different bugs, flu-shot only covers respiratory.
I somehow missed the chance to get my flu-shot at work this year, I've only caught the stomach-bug thus far.
