This video provides a non-confrontational answer to the comment frequently made by those wanting to restrict or even repeal the 2nd Amendment.  Though it was written 200 years ago, it is still valid today for several important reasons.

2:44 too long.

If someone says the 2nd amendment is outdated, the correct response is:
STFU, libtard.

Are any other amendments outdated?

Tag for later viewing, though this is probably the correct response anyway.

When was tyranny outdated?

Yes it is outdated. it needs to be updated to remove all ambiguity about what the founders wrote about in their ratification discussions, so as to prevent all foolishness related to "muskets", "national guard", "the founders never envisioned" etc.  They may not have envisioned today's arms, but the absolutely envisioned and experienced a power bent on stripping them of their rights and starting the finalization of that process with disarmament of the people.

That said, if you put an update out for a vote you'd probably get something worse

The second amendment is definitely outdated.

The founding fathers never anticipated the ridiculous lengths people would go to in order to misconstrue their words.

If they were writing it today the language would be much stronger and more direct.

The commerce clause would be radically different as well...

Correct 2 second answer.  NO!

The language used is certainly outdated, but it cannot be changed. It can only be replaced or strengthened by a new amendment.

Ironically, because the 2nd Amendment has been working, we live in a time where we can debate its merits. Because we don't have a crisis of armed oppression to make its need obvious, we need to defend it with better logic than used by those who want to limit it. "STFU" will get us nowhere.
