I have shot plenty of racoons, possums, and other assorted critters around the homestead... Funny story, had a big old sow coon get into the attic and manage to get inside the chimney... she went all the way to the bottom, didn't want to shoot her in there because she would stink up the place... soooooo.... I got to thinking about how I could get her to voluntarily come out... one gallon of ammonia, dumped it down the chimney...  When that old sow come out of the chimney I bet she cleared 10'!
