Asking the collective Hive mind. Recently purchased 5 lowers from a small company from a limited run they did. Lowers were to be delivered by first week of Dec. Blah Blah Blah, excuses of the anodizer has them, they were finally delivered a month plus late. No swag or trinkets or anything included as a "Sorry, it was out of our hands, thank you for being patient".
Not sure if i should be accepting or is this a party foul on their part????? |

You got 5 lowers in a market that just went up like Mount Vesuvius. Be happy. If you're not happy, sell them to me at the price you paid and I'll send you a PMag each and handprint t-shirts for you as swag. |
| Not to be a dick but delays happen all of the time in all facets of manufacturing. Why do they owe you a toy or a gift because you waited a few extra weeks for your order. You mentioned it was a small company doing a limited run, be happy you got them at all and try to stop sounding like a spoiled child... |

Not sure if serious. If you are then I suggest that you write the company a pissy letter and demand to return the lowers for a full refund since you had to wait an extra 30+ days due to circumstances beyond their control (the anodizer and a limited run of goods). Tell them you want them to pay the return postage too. And don't gforget that they need to refund all your FFL fees also. Must be a fun guy to be around.

Not all companies behave the same. Would an apologize have been nice? Sure. But the bold parts above are germane to your story. Especially in the current shit-storm. Personally, I'd be jumping for joy if I even got the lowers. Not saying you're wrong for feeling slighted, but considering the current market, I'd be happy they delivered only a month late. Some people wait YEARS for barrels, uppers, full rifles, custom work, etc. |
| Maybe their "excuse" of the anodizer having them is correct. If it was a small run he may have bigger orders that need to be done first. I could easily see that happening. Buck up and be glad you got them (I mean you can basically sell them for what 2-4 time what you paid for them? They sent you some free profit.)! |
