Bad depiction of WV. The area (Sissonville) is one of the worst areas they could have picked, especially the Wolfpen part of Sissonville.

WV is no different than any other state, we all have our bad apples and areas just like everybody else.

There's no show that has a cast of 10 people that can accurately depict a entire state.

I'm from Oklahoma and I'm normal...but there are some "backwoods" folks here that would make Deliverance look normal. IE, parts you go in to, you don't come out of.

i watched about 10 minutes of it, then i got bored crushed a bean(snorted a pill), shot up a couple boxes of cheap 30-30, and got in my pickup and thrashed the guts out of it in a large readily available mudhole. why would I watch a tv show about shit I do every day ?

But seriously, I think the show Coal was a more accurate representation, at least for that area of the state.

It's rural kids being kids. They go muddin in thier trucks, they ride ATV's, they drink beer,
get drunk and fight over chicks and dudes.

So they shot spud guns? Got one in the basement.
So some live in trailers? Got neighbors living in trailers across the street.

Just another reason to hate Joe Manchin.

I've only been to the martinsburg area and east, but it was a weird mix of mercedes/bmw driving douchebags/big 4x4 driving shitheads and 50% regular americans.

How in the hell is mtv able to show some of those kids actions there is no way in hell they are legal drinking age. Yet again we will have a front seat in watching all these kids end up in jail or rehab etc.. I wish mtv would just show music vids again.
