I wear dress slacks for work and think its time I bought a decent ankle holster to carry either Ruger LCP or Glock 27. Does anyone have one they like? I live in Florida and am concerned that it will make my leg sweat to death in the summer.

I used a Galco ankle glove as a BUG for a while. Great holster, and I don't typically like Galco.

Wear a sock under neath holster helps to breath and keep it cooler but lets talk reality.
I would much rather have a sweaty angle then get beaten to death cause I didn't carry a gun do to
a sweaty angle.

I had an Uncle Mikes which I liked until I tried a Blackhawk.  The Blackhawk is much better for my S&W Model 36 which is my summer carry piece.  I never paid attention if my ankle was sweating.

I have a Galco Ankle Glove Light for my PM9. I love the neoprene texture of the strap, it makes it real comfortable. I can wear it all day and I don't even notice its there. I don't have a problem with sweat, and I live in Phoenix.

Renegade will work great for the LCP with or without boots. Galco will require an extension if you wear it over a boot.

Galco ankle-lite and a P3AT works for me.  -J

just got the UTG on amazon for $10. It does the job especially, for the price on my xds. I wasn't sure how I would feel about ancle carry, and didnt want to spend the cash on a good one until I knew I would use it. I can post some pics if needed

Galco Ankle Glove. I currently have one for my S&W 642, but also plan on getting one for my Glock 26.

Renegade is a great holster for the money. If you are willing to spend more, Ritchie Leather makes the same rig that Lou Alessi made famous so long ago and it is still...IMO...the best out there.

Be sure it's padded.  I wore one once and sprinted.  Mistake.  The holster went up on my calf and came slamming down on the ankle bone.  Owwwwwwwww!  I limped for the rest of the evening.

I have a Ken Null for a J-frame, his work is good to go. Not sure if he has molds for your model but a simple phone call would confirm. The holster I got from his top notch.

LEO that carries a PM9 in a Galco ankle glove 40+ a week right here.  I like it.

I have carried a S&W442 in a DeSantis Apache holster daily for about five months now and it works fine 95% of the time.  Just needs to be tightened rarely.  Still more comfortable than I expected, and it
is much more compact than a Galco ankle holster, which has more padding and a Neoprene band.

Thanks for the suggestions. For the galco holster guys, do you wear the optional calf piece? Is it comfortable?
