| I know there are 20 million posts concerning AWB and magazine ban legislation, but I don't want to dig through 400 pages of "fuck this, fuck that and don't comply" to find a sample form letter. I want something short and to the point that isn't abrasive or disrespectful, but makes my position clear. Can someone post some samples for others to use as well as key figures to email the letters to other than just my elected officials. Thanks all for the help. |

Dear Representative (or Senator)________________, There has been extreme gun control legislation proposed by Senator Diane Feinstein. As a law abiding gun owner I strongly oppose any new gun control legislation. Including but not limited to “assault weapon” bans, and magazine capacity restrictions. I urge you and your colleagues to oppose any such measure. Those calling for more gun laws carefully ignore the many existing laws that cannot and will not stop mad men who have no regard for the rule of law. I expect and demand a staunch defense of my 2nd Amendment civil rights. Mr./Ms.___Rep's last name____, do not let the good people of ___Your State___ down.
