I have a AR type rifle from a company that calls itself E.A.CO. located in KR.SPR.LA.
 Model J-15

Essential Arms of Crotch Springs (or something like that).  Decent receiver for a shooter; cast, I think.  I had an EA M16 converted by Bushmaster.  Worked well, good shooter, but the EA name lacks the recognition (and therefore premium price) a Colt would have.
