I've read the summary of her proposed AWB and she is trying to make all semi-auto's NFA items. I'm still unclear how that would affect current NFA items. Would you need two stamps for an SBR? Or would the original stamp suffice?
If I remember correctly the 1994 AWB didn't affect NFA guns at all. |
| Feinstein is trying to get assault weapons banned to prevent their sale and transfer. IF that happened, you couldn't give your guns to your kids or anyone in your will since transfers are banned. You would lose your gun when you die, assuming it was legally registered. Make sure you contact your congressmen to tell them to vote on on the legislation that is coming early next year. |

By herself, she doesn't have much power at all. But even pro-gun democrats are starting to turn coat and support mag bans, etc. I just hope these people get their heads out of their asses and look at the real cause of mass shootings - Mental Illness.
