What do your two subway pushing deaths and Newtown have in common? CRAZY PEOPLE! Yet, in the subway deaths, you propose to do nothing as they are "rare". But you crusade to disarm
law abiding citizens to fix the latter. HOW ABOUT FIXING THE MENTAL HEALTH SYSTEM!

Can't make an irrational person act in a rational way. That's true whether it's a fat lady pushing some guy in front of a subway train or some loser kid shooting up a school.

Saw the news conference yesterday, was going to post the same thread today. Couple other gems:

I don't know that there is a way to prevent, there's always going to be somebody, a deranged person.
