No, you have just come across the totally illegal behavior of the OSP.
They are delaying "instant checks" way beyond reasonable limits. In theory, if they can't perform the check within three days, the dealer can deliver the gun(s), but none will, because they are afraid to actually follow the law. ETA - report this (or get your friend to) to OFF. They are compiling a list of abuses. |
