The NRA is not our last stand and throwing tons of money their way will not secure the future of our AR's, AK's etc. But do what you want. What will secure the future of them is our ability to be Men and refuse to comply with a law that is obviously illegal under the Constitution of the United States. We need to unite when they say "register your gun", we say NO, united in one voice. We will not be "sheeple" as the gun owners in Australia, Canada and Britton were. Their government said register and you keep your gun.....That's all we want....but after the registration the government said turn 'em in or your a felon and will go to prison. The sheep went to the slaughter house with barely a wimper. I for one will stand toe to toe with anyone that wants to fight the socialists and I will not comply.
I don't claim to know alot but I do know, that you can't make a million people do anything they don't want to if they refuse to comply. If they offer one for one trade-in of your highcap magazines for 10 rounders or become a criminal.......we all say NO we will not comply. nothing they can do. These beurocrats work for you and me. How dare they threaten us. I don't care if they draw and quarter dangerous lunatics and childmolesters/killers..... but blameing a rifle for killing. It's the same as wanting to ban automobiles for the 50,000 violent deaths caused in traffic accidents every year. Do Not Comply.................Mike |

Hey, that sounds great. And, you could throw a few dollars toward an NRA membership and help them make sure we never get to the point where you have to go "toe to toe" with someone wanting to take your guns.
But hey, if martyrdom sounds more fun to you, knock yourself out. |

You know what? Broadcasting your intents like this isn't the best idea.
I know that many, a vast number, will comply with an order to do anything even to kneel down in front of a hole full of dead bodies. But this forum isn't anonymous by any means, and if a warrant was issued for account information at AR15.com the site owners would almost certainly comply with it. IF it ever comes to outright defying the law, it is best to take the "resistance movement" approach and only include a small number of trusted people in your operations while insulating yourself completely from other "cells". If that isn't how it's done, it will fail because the entity that will be "the enemy" when that happens, already knows almost everything about you they need to. TLDR: OPSEC like a motherfucker. |

You're from Texas Eric...all due respect, I support the NRA, but ask fellas from CA, NY, NJ, and MA how the NRA "helped" us during our state struggles. NRA sends its funds/efforts to states they know are easy wins, the rest of us feel like chum in the shark infested waters. It took the CATO Institute to fight "behind the lines"...where was the NRA? I know where I stand, and I'll keep fighting regardless - with the NRA or alone. |

Actually, I'm from Illinois...where the NRA just got them concealed carry through legal action. My point is that it's freaking asinine to say "Don't join the NRA, just prepare to go down in a hail of bullets to keep your guns". I understand that a lot of folk here think that's some kind of glorious end, but I'd rather support organizations that will help PREVENT things from getting to that point and live a long, happy life instead. |

My issue with the NRA is they play the game by the liberal's playbook and for the most part, they're FUDDS.
Having worthless celebrities sit on their BOD is another issue. My real beef is that neither they nor their ILA branch nor our state's NRA affiliate, Gun Owners of South Carolina would support a grassroots effort back in 2002 to reform our state's CWP law...that carry in schools, churches, and restaurants was "too radical". Wayne what's his face is an idiot. "These guns only shoot one bullet per trigger pull". What a milquetoast response to the "assault weapons" debate. |

IF a confiscation/ban/registration like the OP suggests occurs, sites like this one will eventually have users and data crosschecked with compliance IF resistance to the law became a big enough problem. |
