I've got a 2002 Tahoe Z71 that needs new tires. It's currently got BFG T/A KOs on there in 265/70R17.

I want to keep the stock rims, but I was wondering what would be the biggest tire size I could go Without having to modify anything and avoiding any rubbing?

Thanks guys

Save yourself a lot of headaches and hassle and just replace with factory recommended size. Some shops wont mount larger tires if the factory wheels aren't rated for the larger size...and they usually aren't.It's often the wheel WIDTH that wont work.

If you are not going to install a lift kit, anything bigger is going to rub on fender wells and such on the front end.
There just isn't much room for anything bigger.

285/70/17's will fit if you crank the torsion bars.

You'll want to align it after.
