Quoted: Quoted: why are all these links "hot"? It makes them easier to click? Am I breaking some sort of protocol or something? Hot linking provides them with a source of where the link was clicked. If a poll suddenly surges in one direction they'll be able to see that a majority of the votes came from arfcom. Cold linking is inconvenient in that we are required to copy/paste but it leaves no trail. |

All of the polls appear to have been taken down now except for the Huffington. They must not have liked the results they were getting. Most were still there, you just have to scroll down to see them. I think the Huffington/Yougov poll is rigged though, hasn't changed since Sunday. |

No to insult your internet skills, but are you sure you are grabbing the right part of the url? The OP kinda messed them up. |

Hot links Thank you very much for this post. I hit them all. ![]() Please edit your post and remove the hotlinks! Hot linking gives a tracking source of where us pollsters come from. It makes them able to tell that we all clicked a hotlink from AR15.com and can came from here. Leaving the links cold and requiring us to copy and paste them into our own browsers, gives anonymity to our affiliations. |

Hit.
All polls in our favor, minus the Huffpost article, where all were against us, and the polls were too weird to share on here. No 86% No 26439/24610 No restrictions 75.3% No 26471/24645 No 75.9% No 52% No 76% (skipped Huffpost) 123 Votes for "No regulation needed" No 61% |
