We are on it.
You won't see Russia and China responding to our moves. We won't be making any big ones. Those made will all be reactionary. When empires begin starving their armies to provide more comfort for the uber privileged leaders and some bread and circus for the mob, it's pretty much on the defensive. Our armed forces are going to be even smaller and the ideals of service in them eroded as those serving see their sacrifices less valued and rewarded. Pretty soon our foreign policy tools will be all carrot and no stick. |
