Just bore sighted a rifle for a buddy who missed a buck the other day. My question for you guys is, he has a SWIFT scope on his rifle. Are SWIFT scopes any good at al?

I'm sure it's as good as a Nightforce, the same way Bushmaster is as good as Noveske.

Havent given it back to him yet. I will be taking it out tomorrow to shoot it to confirm the boresighting. I was just inquiring about the quality of the scope he is using.

I'm sure this will be an outrage here but,

You would be surprised how well some shitty scopes work.

As long as they don't move or any of the lenses They will all do the job.

A local gunsmith was recommending them as a pretty good value a couple years back.
Certainly not Swarovskis; comparable to the $150 range Bushnells or Weavers, I'd guess...

Is your buddy any good at shooting?
I have a swift scope, I think it is a 4-12x40??? on a 6.5 swede.  I got no complaints, however it is probably 20 years old

They're probably fine for the typical "less than a box of ammo per year" deer gun.

I've never had one myself, but a couple of acquaintances use them on deer guns, with no complaints.
