Anybody going to the Tulsa funshow tomorrow? It's gonna be... biblical.

Wish I was but that many people in one place annoys me. Yes it will be nuts I'm sure. I would like to be there just because of the election results and see its affect.

I will be stocking my freezer with meat instead.

I miss the Tulsa Gun Shows. They are truly great shows. I grew up there and never knew while I lived there that they were some of the best Gun Shows in the country. Now I live in Orlando and I get to see how good they are compared to the crap we have here.

Meh, it will be crowded and over priced.  I'll probably just stay home.

I've wanted to go for years

My Dad, brother, and I went to the one in March(?) this year.  We drove down on Friday (from central Nebraska), went to the show Saturday morning, and drove back that afternoon.  While it was entertaining there were too many people and it just stopped being enjoyable for me after about 6 hours of walking and fighting crowds.

That fact that it was a 1000mi round trip didn't help either.  I won't be going again.

The only plus was I got to fondle some scopes I had never seen before like a USO SN3 3.2-17x44, Premier Heritage (drool), and a Vortex PST.

Man, that place was a zoo. I managed to walk it in its entirety today though... Found some good buys on surplus pull down reloading components, used private party handguns and believe it or not, magazines.

Also, seemed like everyother table had several personal weapons for sale for cash... alot of guys had those little credit card swipe things in their smartphones too... if gunshows don't get banned I expect to see alot more instant cashless sales for private party transactions.

To walk it in one day is quite a task! The wifey and I did that Spring 2011. I think its like 5 miles if you walk every aisle, which we did.

I made the trip last time obama won, it was absolutely retarded.  Skipping this post election one also.  For the most part I can find the same stuff nine for cheaper anyway.

If you want to go to see the stuff you don't see every day, then it's a good show.

Have always wanted to make the trip to Tulsa for that show at least once.

Yeah, I'm really sore today from humping 60lbs around for 9 hrs. I had specific items on my list so limited myself to about 5 seconds per table unless something caught my eye, then I'd haul ass past all the other junk. Don't think I'd have made it if I brought my girlfriend.
