“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.”
― Alexis de Tocqueville |

Quoted: "Put ya'll back in chains!!"Quoted: Quoted: Seriously. "OBAMAPHONE!!!! KEEP OBAMA IN PREZIDENT!!!" That's how. This plus "Romney will send us back to the cotton fields" and libtards saying "Romney wants to control my uterus". Sadly many of the Democrats actually believe all these things. |
|
The sad thing is, even if Romney should win by a significant margin (let's say 60% to 40% or so), that still means that almost half (i.e. 40%) of the voting population is in favor of big government, socialism and the welfare state. The founding fathers must be turning in their graves... |

Vote early, vote often, pack the ballot box and rig the electronic ones. Make it impossible for anyone to verify who voted when. Herd illegals felons and hood rats through the polls in various neighborhoods. Concentrate on minority neighborhoods in swing states where people will be afraid to challenge you for fear of being labeled a vote suppressing racist. Rig the polls during the campaign and explain any extra large numbers as an astoundingly groovy high voter turnout due to your grass roots staff doing a great job of getting out the vote. Accuse the other guys of fraud first and scream about it so loud that when they start pointing it out people will say it's just damage control and not believe them.
That's how a banana republic dictator would stay in office. Tammany Hall perfected the technique for the tech at the time, and it's only been getting better ever since. Don't think for a second it's not happening. The best part is, the candidate keeps its hands clean and all the fraud is perpetrated at the ground level where it's deniable. |

Stupid people. We have a winner. My wife was asking a friend of hers last night why she was voting for Obama. Her response? She likes his stance on social issues and she thought he would bring us a stronger and more diversified economy. You just can't fix stupidj |

Free shit army is out in full force Funny thing is I have hardcore libs in my office all the time. They say the same things about R's that most of us say about D's almost to the point of my not being able to tell exactly which side of the divide they're coming from. Kind of sad really, because both parties (and politicians that claim either party) are often very similar. |

Demographics. Some of you live in overwhelmingly red areas. The constant chatter is pro-Romney so it begins to seem that this is the way it is. I, for example, live in a very liberal area where the reverse is true. So to me, if I were to judge just by local chatter and media attention it would seem like Obama is a no-brainer and Romney is a near-fringe candidate.
The truth is somewhere in the middle and that is what we are seeing now. How close this really is. |

Fraud. Because Romney is not a strong candidate. Period. The Republicans could run Gandhi and the MSM would paint him as an anorexic rabble rousing fiend who punts tots for kicks. Cleveland is honest Abe compared to Philly. Phraud Phraud Phraud. Plus the Phree Sh!t Army. The Phix is in so Phvck Obama and his Phearphul wookie wench.

Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Fraud. Because Romney is not a strong candidate. Period. Quoting this so if Romney wins I get to say "IN YO FACE SWINGSET!!!!" If o wins I'll look like that avatar of yours.....a ridicules yet solemn look on my face and my tail between my legs. He can win, and he's still not a strong candidate. He's running against a complete and utter clusterfuck. The question was how is this close, not will Romney win. Reagan would have demolished Obama, completely and utterly. We all know it. I voted Romney, btw....but I'm also realistic about his image and strengths during this race. |
