It's like watching a flag football team kick 80 yard field goals. It looks and sounds great but nobody cares.

Which is exactly why we're at a $16 trillion dollar deficit, among other things.

Interesting that this didn't get more traffic.

We've got tons of people on ARFCOM who loudly proclaim that they're voting 3rd party....yet can't be bothered to watch the debate their candidate is in and comment on it I guess?

All 4 of the "mainstream" debates got 60+ pages during the debate.

Interesting indeed.

I'm here. I think it's hilarious how the candidates on the left keep thinking that the agents of capitalism - businesses - are the downfall of civilization.

It's because even the guys voting for third party 1. Already know who they are voting for and why, and 2. know it really won't make much of a difference anyway.

I knew I was voting for Romney (barring a trade arrangement made in DKprofs thread anyway).  I still watched all the debates just because I think politics are interesting (though disgusting.  It's like having a pet snake).  Considering how every political thread gets jumped on by the 3rd party guys here (not all of them, but quite a few notorious loudmouths at least), I assumed they were as interested in politics as I am.  So if they're not interested in the politics, I wonder why they loudly proclaim how awesome GJ is and how they won't vote for the Mittwitt, yet can't be bothered to watch a debate with GJ in it....hmmm......

Please remember that they're having an instant runoff vote for a 2nd debate next week. The top two debaters get invited to come back. Make sure to vote to see Gary again in another debate.
