Saw it today. It was the worst piece of dog shit I've ever seen. Aside from making Istanbul look like downtown Cairo, it had UNBELIEVABLY stupid plot devices.
The dialogue felt like it was written by an arfcommer. No scratch that, it felt like the dialogue was written by James Wesley, Rawles. It was THAT bad. Click To View Spoiler it was a ridiculous movie. |

I thought it was pretty fucking stupid. Special effects such as the explosions were right out of a B movie, plot was wtf unbelievable. They obviously didnt bother to have a tech advisor to give anyone a weapons manipulation course and the embassy seen went full retard. Worst movie I've seen all summer and my gf and I see at least one movie a week.
I've seen better 80s & 90s seagal movies. |

Box office take is over $50 million. That is double the take of the entire run of Taken. I see Taken 3 in the future... the next film will have him hired to rescue a politicians daughter from the cartel and the rest of the crew are utilized for maximum bloodshed |

Either that or Liam's identity is taken and...oh wait... |

Seems like the latter. Are there really a lot of chicks walking around in Daisy Dukes in Istanbul? |

They more often than not are clueless when trying to recreate foreign countries on screen. |

Not nearly as good as the first one.
Both movies are divorced father fantasy movies. The first one had good fight choreography and some kinetic joy to it. This one had lousy and predictable fight choreography. And it's pretty dopey for Brian Mills to always be going into these fights alone. The first rule of getting into a gunfight is to bring a bunch of friends with guns. It helps a lot if your friends also have a prison system. |
